Prof. Dr. Levent Akdeniz received his bachelor's degree from the Police Academy. He earned his master's and doctoral degrees in Finance in the United States.
Throughout his academic career, Prof. Dr. Akdeniz has conducted research in the fields of finance, financial economics, capital markets, and corporate finance. He has authored numerous scholarly publications and research papers at both the national and international levels.
Having served in various academic and administrative positions at TED University, Prof. Dr. Akdeniz has made significant contributions to the University's academic development, the strengthening of its research capacity, and the promotion of a student-centered educational approach.
As of June 2026, Prof. Dr. Levent Akdeniz has been serving as the Acting Rector of TED University. He continues to pursue his work in line with a higher education vision that emphasizes research excellence, innovation, and internationalization.
Prof. Dr. Levent Akdeniz is married and has two children.
